‘MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION’ (1997) – Best *WORST* Sequel Ever? | Review

𝔸𝕡𝕠𝕝𝕠𝕘𝕚𝕖𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕡𝕠𝕤𝕥!

In my latest review, I discuss ‘Mortal Kombat: Annihilation’ (1997), one of the best worst movies of all time! I've already reviewed the first 'Mortal Kombat' adaptation from the 90s, so I thought it was only appropriate to review the sequel! Said sequel follows Liu Kang (Robin Shou), Kitana (Talisa Soto), Sonya Blade (Sandra Hess), Jax (Lynn 'Red' Williams) and Raiden (James Remar) who must seek allies to prevent the evil emperor Shao Kahn from merging Earthrealm Outworld. Can they save the day once again?

With half the cast being replaced since the last film, what can go wrong? Hope you guys like my first review of 2025!

‘NEW YEAR’S EVIL’ (1980) – An Early Slasher That Deserves More Credit? | Review

Hello, everyone! I decided to do something special on my channel this year – a review for the New Year! ‘New Year’s Evil’ cult slasher film from 1980 which centres around a rock DJ named Blaze, who receives threats from a mysterious caller, going by ‘Evil’. Evil threatens to kill a woman at each midnight across the U.S. time zones, with Blaze being the final target! Can she escape her fate, and who is evil?

Despite its cult status, the film is often regarded as being in the 'so bad it's good' category, and has very mixed reviews. I didn't remember it being too bad before making my review; is the general consensus fair?

I REVIEW 'JACK FROST' (1997)!

‘JACK FROST’ (1997) – WORST Holiday Horror Flick of ALL TIME? | Review

Hello, everyone! In this video, I discuss the 1997 holiday exploitation film ‘Jack Frost’! The movie centres around a serial killer who continues his killing spree after being resurrected as an evil, one-line delivering snowman. It’s just as dodgy and low-budget as it sounds.

Hope you enjoy the video!

I REVIEW 'I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS' (1998)!

‘I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS’ (1998) – The Worst Christmas Comedy Ever? | Review

Hello everyone! It's finally time for my first Christmas review of 2024! In this video, I discuss the 1998 film ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’! The film centres around Jake (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), a college student who must find his way back home in New York in time for the holidays in the hopes that his father will give him a 1957 Porsche. However, his rival (Adam Lavorgna) leaves him stranded in the California desert and offers Jake's girlfriend (Jessica Biel) a ride home. This film is often named one of the worst Christmas-themed film of all time. But is that fair to say?

I REVIEW 'ABIGAIL' (2024)!

‘ABIGAIL’ (2024) – Another Win for Vampiric Comedy-Horror? | Review

Hey, everyone! I figured that it was about time for another Vampire Movie Review, so I figured that the much-discussed ‘Abigail’ (2024) would be a worthy candidate! This movie centres around a group of criminals who are hired to hold the daughter of a powerful crimelord for ransom. However, the gang realise that may have agreed to more than they bargained for when their kidnappee doesn't exactly seem human.

I've seen this movie be discussed on other movie review/reaction channels, but is ‘Abigail’ worth the hype? Hopefully, my video will answer this question!

I REVIEW 'MONSTER HOUSE' (2006)!

‘MONSTER HOUSE’ (2006) – The World’s CREEPIEST Animated Feature... | Hallowe’en Review 2024

Hey, everyone!! 🦇

While ‘Coraline’ is definitely up there, there is one children’s (animated) film that definitely takes the cake when it comes to giving its target audience nightmares, and that film is… ‘Monster House’!! The film centres around a trio of friends who must defend their neighbourhood from a very unusual supernatural threat, that being a possessed house that attacks anyone that comes near it!

I found this movie really unsettling back in the day, and I wanted to know if I was in the right for thinking so, or if the film had aged horribly. Is this movie actually very good, or just another uncanny valley animated film from the 2000s? I hope to find out through this review! Happy Hallowe'en, everyone!

I REVIEW 'CORALINE' (2009)!

‘CORALINE’ (2009) – A “Family Friendly” Horrifying Inter-Dimensional Fable | Review

Hey, everyone! 🦇

In the video linked above, I discuss ‘Coraline’, a 2009 family dark-fantasy/horror film made via stop-motion animation, and adapted from Neil Gaiman’s novella of the same time. The film follows Coraline Jones, a neglected girl who ends up finding a door leading to a parallel world after moving house. Despite things seeming perfect on the surface, things may not be as they seem.

I was really creeped out by this film when I saw it as a kid, but I ended up really liking it when I rewatched it for my review! But, are my feelings on it justified! Hopefully, I'll be able to convince you in my review!

I REVIEW 'PARANORMAN' (2012)!

‘PARANORMAN’ (2012) – Loneliness, Acceptance and Belonging | Review

Hey, everyone!! 🦇

In my most recent video, I discuss the movie, 'ParaNorman'! It's 2012 stop-motion horror-comedy by Laika, and centres around Norman, a nerdy 11-year-old boy with the ability to talk to the dead. When a witch’s curse wreaks havoc across town, Norman must save the day by applying his knowledge and own experiences to the supposed threat! This movie elaborates on themes of loneliness, being a misfit, justice and forgiveness. Heavy but important ideas for a family film! But is it as good as I remember?

I REVIEW 'CAN'T BUY ME LUNCH' (2003)!

‘THE RUTLES 2: CAN’T BUY ME LUNCH’ (2003) – A Case Of Rutting Too Close To The Sun? | Review

Hello, everyone! 🦇

In this review, I discuss the sequel to ‘All You Need Is Cash’ – ‘The Rutles 2: Can’t Buy Me Lunch’! I really enjoyed the first film, but does the second live up to its reputation? 'Can't Buy Me Lunch' only sees Eric Idle return out of the original Rutles line-art, and he is joined by various celebrities recounting their memories of the Rutles, along with archive footage from the original film. This sequel is often disregarded as a failed attempt to recreate the success of the first film, but is that assessment fair?

I REVIEW 'BEAUTIFUL WEDDING' (2024)

‘BEAUTIFUL WEDDING’ (2024) – The Dylan Sprouse WATTPAD AHH Movie Somehow Got A SEQUEL | Review

Hello, everyone! In the above review, I discuss the sequel to the highly questionable 2023 romance film, ‘Beautiful Disaster’ – aptly titled, ‘Beautiful Wedding’. The film chronicles Abby, Travis, Shepley and America fleeing to Mexico to escape from avaricious mob boss, Benny after getting married while highly intoxicated. I remember somewhat enjoying the previous instalment in the 'Beautiful' film series, but how does the sequel compare?
