Discovering 호아 HOA – World’s Most Underrated Beatles-Inspired Band? | Discussion

Hey, everyone! In my new video, I am going to be discussing an extremely underrated South Korean indie rock band, HOA (호아), known for their sixties inspired rock songs centring around love and self-discovery. I was surprised that they are not as popular as one may assume, and so I decided to dedicate this video to discussing their music and why they deserve a bigger spotlight. I love Beatles parody bands, and I love that more modern bands still appreciate them!

‘PENELOPE’ (2006) and Self-Acceptance | Review & Discussion

Hello, everyone! In my new review, I’m going to be discussing the film romance-fantasy film, ‘Penelope’ (2006)! It centres around a young noble woman born with the face of a pig due to a family curse, which can only be broken once she has been accepted by one of her own kind. After years of failed matchmaking attempts while being hidden away by her parents, Penelope escapes in disguise, where she discovers acceptance and friendship and realises that she must love herself before anyone else can.

I watched this film many times as a child, and while I remembered specific scenes well, I wanted to find out whether it had held up. Is this film truly under-rated?

This film has a much bigger scope, a much bigger setting and loads of celebrity cameos - but is it any better than the first?

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel! In today’s video, I’m discussing the 5th episode of Season 5 of ‘The X Files’, ‘The Post-Modern Prometheus’. It has Special Agents Mulder and Scully visit a town rumoured to be inhabited by a two-faced 'monster' who is subject to break-ins with Cher singing a backing track. What's the purpose of these break-ins? Is the monster even real, and what does the mysterious Dr Pollidori even know about this case? The episode is one of the most highly rated within the original series, and parodies Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’ in its own ‘X Files’ way. But is it worth the hype?

‘VAMPIRES SUCK’ (2010) – WORST Vampire Parody Film? | Reaction/Review

Hello, everyone! In this video, I’m going to be discussing the infamous ‘Vampires Suck’ (2010)! The film is an incredibly low-rated ‘Scary Movie’ esque parody of the first ‘Twilight’ movie (which may have something to do with the fact that it was written, directed and produced by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer), and centres around “Edward Sullen” and “Bella Crane”. Bad acting and low brow humour ensues.

Unlike my other reivews, this video features a reaction segment as opposed to a play-by-play commentary segment. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's parody movies are considered some of the worst movies of all time, but does 'Vampires Suck' deserve to have such a low rating?

Hello, everyone! In this video, I’m discussing the poorly reviewed ‘Escape From Planet Earth’ (2012)! Baabian brothers Scorch and Gary attempt to perform a rescue mission on Earth after receiving an SOS message, but end up captured by the evil General Shanker. They meet several other aliens there, and try to hatch a plan, but are met with doubts about their suspicions surrounding their captors.

Can the brothers escape; does this film deserve such poor reviews; and why is this so reminiscent of ‘Planet 51’?

Hello, everyone! In today’s video, I discuss an eccentric vampire comedy film – ‘Once Bitten’ (1985)! In the film, a student named Mark Kennedy (Jim Carrey, in his first lead role!) is targeted by the Countess (Lauren Hutton), a vampire who must drink the blood of a virgin three times before Hallowe’en to maintain her youthful appearance. Will Mark and his friends manage to escape being turned into the undead?

This film has been rated pretty poorly online, and I wanted to find out why this could possibly be through this review. 'Once Bitten' has reached cult film status - but has it aged poorly?

Hello, everyone! My latest review centres around the ultimate sharksploitation film, ‘Sharknado’ (2013)! As the title would suggest, it centres around a hurricane that carries numerous man-eating sharks into Los Angeles! This leaves our protagonist, Fin (Ian Ziering), a bar owner and ex-surfer, to rescue his estranged wife (Tara Reid) and daughter with the help of his friends. 🦈

I remember this film got a lot of hype around it when it was released, but was all that hype unwarranted? I hadn't seen it in many years before making this video, so hopefully I can convey my thoughts around this well!
