‘EVOLUTION’ (2001) – GHOSTBUSTERS’ Cult Comedy Sci-Fi Twin (In A “Spiritual” Sense)?! | Review

Hey, everyone! In today’s video, I'm reviewing ‘Evolution’ (2001)! It centres around two restless college professors, Ira Kane (David Duchovny) and Harry Block (Orlando Jones) who try to investigate the site of a meteorite landing with the intention of furthering their careers. Nevertheless, this leads to them befriending CDC researcher Allison Reed (Julianne Moore) and trainee firefighter Wayne Grey (Sean William Scott)… and uncovering an alien invasion!

This movie received mixed reviews when it released, but has now amassed a cult following, with one of its writers calling it "slightly underappreciated in its time". Is that fair to say, though?
